We offer multiple volleyball strength training classes each week. These sessions are run in a drop-in format and is perfect for the volleyball player between 13 to 17 years old. Each time the athlete attends a training session we check off that they have completed one of their workouts. This allows flexibility to your schedule.
What does a typical training session look like?
The first 20 minutes is dedicated to mobility exercises, muscles activation, speed/ agility, and plyometric exercises. The following 40 minutes is focused on strength and power development.
Athletes are encouraged to book in for a 30 minute assessment before joining the open group training. The coach will put the athlete through a functional movement screening to identify movement restrictions and other dysfunctions. The athlete will also be tested on their spike touch, block touch, and other performance tests.
