Sandlot Sluggers Baseball Experience

The Athlete Matrix Sandlot Baseball Program is excited to announce the Sandlot Sluggers Baseball Experience. The Sandlot Sluggers is designed to benefit youth baseball players from various organizations in the Greater Toronto Area. The Sluggers will offer 5 to 7 day trips at a variety of destinations around the United States to provide players and their families an incredible baseball experience including practices, games and team events. Events will be scheduled during Fall, Winter and Spring months to help players and families escape the cold and play some baseball in great locations!

Players who register and attend a Sandlot Slugger Baseball Experience's receive a T-Shirt, Shorts, Hat, Pre-Tournament Team Dinner/Meet & Greet and Special Event Entrance. All travel and accommodations are covered by the attending families.

The Sandlot Sluggers Coaching Staff will feature 2 Matrix Baseball Coaches that will bring both a high-level of baseball experience collegiately, professionally or internationally as well as provide great off-field experience for the players. Each Sandlot Slugger will walk away from an event with a positive experience both on and off the field, new friendships and ready for their next step forward in their baseball careers!

Trip #1: USSSA Top Choice Spring Classic - April 1st - 5th

The inaugural Sandlot Sluggers Baseball Experience will be in Phoenix, Arizona at the USSSA Top Choice Spring Classic from April 1st - 5th. Current teams attending are from California, Colorado, Minnesota, Nevada, Washington, and more.

Teams (2): 12 & Under (2008 or after May 1, 2007) and 13 & Under (2007 or after May 1, 2006)

Team Arrival: Wednesday, April 1st

Team Hotel: Sheraton Crescent (Nightly Avg. $119 USD)

*Squash & Tennis Courts, Pool & Waterslide, Lounge, etc.*

Wednesday, April 1st: Team Practice & Team Event

Thursday, April 2nd: Team Practice & Exhibition Game

Friday, April 3rd: Exhibition Game & Team Dinner

Saturday, April 4th - Sunday, April 5th: USSSA Top Choice Spring Classic (3 Game Guarantee)

Team Departure: Sunday, April 5th (or later at each families discretion)

Cost: $799.99 +HST (CAD)
